And maybe because of that, we cldn't do our work well. After going to some governmental offices with zero result, finally we decided to hang out on the vintage Chinese coffee shop called Tung Tao.
I oreded tarik tea and cheese toast. The tarik tea was nice, but the toast, bleh! Jakartan's toast is still way more better. No offense! But I did!
Smoking hot ME, I meant, the toast! hahaha.. |
AHA! don't buy this! Don't buy this! It's too expensive and burnt! |
It taste ok for toast with Rp15 thousands. Still I'm comparing with toast of mas-mas near my place in Jakarta. |
The coffee shop-ing tradition is very popular here on this island considering the people like to gamble and drinking coffee. Yes, gamble with that domino cards.
The interesting part of this coffee shop-ing tradition in Bangka Belitung island is all of the ethnics, be it Chinese, Malay, or others, can blend together without race barrier. That is what I like about being here, people are united.
What??? Did I just say the word LIKE??? Well, maybe that's a good thing for me to start liking this place so I can enjoy it
