live in the moment, Ida

During my weary days in this island, my kind hearted Boss used to tell me:   

"Only change that is eternal, that is why he said I have to live in the moment."

Yesterday is a past, it is a history.
Tomorrow is a future, it is a mystery.
But today is a present, it is a gift I should cherish.

He continued, one should experiences a very deep wound and disappointment in order to appreciate a bliss of happiness.

What matter is to look for experiences in which one should unite with nature because nature is a part of human too.

That old man also coined some interesting words such as.. Sajadah: satu jiwa dalam syahadat. That word he told to newly wed Pak Dadang, my colleague in office.

I like this man, he seems so wise even though sometimes when he talks with me I can't understand what he means because of his strange accent and dialect
He's so humble and down to earth. It seems like he has no passion to the material world anymore. He is so suffice with what he has.

That is really good for my spiritual character building, but I thought.. At this age I need to look up a figure who can teach me the ambition. It's such a shame my boss don't have it anymore. He is already pleased

But me not. I'm restless. I don't know what I'm looking for, but I can't settle down yet.
